Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Use form an agreement between you as the user and Atomic Solutions, which develops and operates the TVOJA integracija app on behalf of the Tvoja Integracija brand.

You accept these terms when you create an account and tick the corresponding box during registration, or when you continue using the app. If you do not agree with them, please do not create an account and do not use the app.

Our Privacy Policy applies alongside these terms and explains how we handle your data. These terms cover the iOS and Android app, including all content shown in it.

Who may use the app

The app is intended for adults. People aged 16 to 18 may use it with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, and people under 16 only with the consent and under the supervision of a guardian, who then takes responsibility for that use.

The information you enter at registration and in your profile must be accurate and your own. Your account is personal: you may not share it with others or transfer it to another person.

The app is made for people from the former Yugoslavia living in or moving to Germany, but its use is not restricted to them. You are responsible for complying with the law of the country you access the app from.

Licence and permitted use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to install and use the app on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.

This licence does not include the right to resell, rent out, distribute or publicly display the app or its content, or to use it to build a competing service.

• You may not attempt to access parts of the system you are not authorised to reach, or circumvent security mechanisms and access restrictions.
• You may not decompile, disassemble or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the app, except to the extent mandatory law expressly permits.
• You may not use automated means to extract content in bulk, including data on organisations, businesses and events, or place an unusual load on our infrastructure.
• You may not modify, translate or create derivative works from the app, the e-book or other materials without our written consent.
• You may not use the app in any way that breaks the law, endangers other users or damages the reputation of the brand.

Your account and security

You can create an account with an email address and password, or by signing in with Apple. When you sign in with Apple, Apple's own terms for that service apply as well.

You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for all activity on your account. You can change your password in the app, and if you forget it you can request a reset by email.

If you suspect that someone has accessed your account without permission, tell us immediately at support@tvoja-integracija.com so that we can act.

Your content and rules of conduct

The content you enter — consultation questions, messages to our team, questionnaire answers and profile details — remains yours. By sending it, you give us the right to store it, show it to you and to our team, and process it as far as necessary to answer you and provide the service.

You are responsible for the content you send and you confirm that you are entitled to send it.

• Do not send content that is unlawful, abusive, threatening, discriminatory, hateful or that incites violence.
• Do not send other people's personal data without their consent, or confidential documents that are not meant for you.
• Do not use consultations and messages for advertising, spam or harvesting contacts.
• Do not impersonate another person, an institution or an official of the German authorities.
• Do not deliberately enter false information in order to mislead our team or other users.

The nature of the information: this is not legal, tax, immigration or medical advice

Everything in the app — the guides, the integration steps, the blog, the glossary, the e-book, the helpful forms, the calculators and the answers from our team — is general information and orientation only. It is not legal advice, not tax advice, not immigration or residence status advice, and not medical or financial advice.

Using the app does not create a lawyer-client relationship, a tax adviser relationship or any other regulated professional relationship. For binding advice on your specific situation, consult a licensed professional — a lawyer (Rechtsanwalt), a tax adviser (Steuerberater), a recognised migration counselling service (Migrationsberatung) or a doctor.

German rules, amounts, deadlines and administrative practice change often and differ between federal states and cities. We work hard to keep the content accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that it is accurate, complete or applicable to your case. The final decision in any procedure is made by the competent authority, not by the app.

The calculators in the app (for example for net salary, child benefit, voluntary health insurance or a company formation budget) produce an estimate based on the figures you enter and on simplified rules. The results are indicative, not binding, and do not replace a calculation by your employer, the tax office, your health insurer or a professional.

Any decisions you take on the basis of content in the app are taken at your own risk.

Consultations and services

Through the app you can send a question or a consultation request. This is an orientation service: we help you understand the step ahead of you and point you to the right place. It is not representation before authorities and not a regulated professional service.

We do not guarantee a response time and we cannot promise to answer every question. We may decline a request, in particular where it goes beyond the scope of our content or asks for professional advice we are not permitted to give.

For some topics, such as starting a company, we may forward your questionnaire to a partner who handles that area. In that case any contract, price and responsibility is between you and that partner; we are not a party to that contract and are not liable for its performance.

Organisations, businesses and service providers listed in the app are not an endorsement or a guarantee of quality on our part. Check them before you commit to anything.

Payments and subscriptions

The app is currently free. It contains no in-app purchases and no active subscriptions, and we never ask you for card details.

Users who took out a subscription in earlier versions of the app manage it directly in their App Store or Google Play account, and cancel it there. Billing was handled by Apple or Google under their own terms, so refund requests are handled by them.

The book and other products offered outside the app are ordered on the website tvoja-integracija.com, where the terms of sale published on that site apply.

If we introduce paid features in the future, we will show you the price, the scope of the service and the conditions clearly before you confirm anything, and your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Third-party content and external links

Part of the content comes from public sources, from partners and from our website. Details about organisations, businesses, cities and events can change without notice to us, so we do not guarantee that they are accurate, current or available.

The app contains links and embedded third-party content, including YouTube videos, maps and external websites. We have no influence over their content or terms and accept no responsibility for them. Once you open an external link, the terms of that site's operator apply.

If you spot incorrect information, a wrong contact detail or content that should not be in the app, tell us at support@tvoja-integracija.com and we will look into it.

Intellectual property

The app, its source code, design, logo, the name TVOJA integracija, the texts, illustrations, photographs, videos, glossary and e-book are protected by copyright and other rights and belong to us or to our licensors.

The e-book and the other materials in the app are for your personal use. Copying, publishing, sharing or commercial use without our written consent is not permitted.

Third-party names and marks appearing in the app belong to their owners and are used for identification purposes only.

Availability and changes

We do our best to keep the app available and working correctly, but we provide it as it is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation: maintenance, outages at our service providers, bugs and network problems can occur.

We keep developing the app. We may add, change or remove features, and we may update or withdraw content. New versions can also be delivered as a content update inside the app.

For security and correct operation we may require you to update to the latest version; older versions may stop working.

We may amend these terms when the service or the law changes. We will inform you of significant changes in the app or by email before they take effect. If you do not agree with the changes, you can stop using the app and delete your account.

Ending your use of the app

You can stop at any time: delete your account in the app (Profile, then Settings, then Request profile deletion) and remove the app from your device.

We may temporarily restrict or permanently close your account if you seriously breach these terms, misuse the service, or where the law requires it. Where appropriate we will warn you first and give you a chance to put things right.

When the agreement ends, your licence to use the app ends with it. Provisions that by their nature should survive — intellectual property, limitation of liability and governing law — remain in force.

Limitation of liability

We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and within the scope of product liability and any guarantee we have expressly given.

For slight negligence we are liable only where we breach an obligation that makes proper use of the service possible in the first place and on whose fulfilment you may reasonably rely. In that case liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of agreement.

We are not liable for decisions you take on the basis of the general information in the app, for the results of the calculators, for the conduct of public authorities, or for third-party services you engage through the app.

These limitations do not affect your mandatory rights as a consumer.

Governing law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by the law of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

If you are a consumer with your habitual residence in another country, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of that country's law.

Before you start any formal proceedings, please contact us at support@tvoja-integracija.com — most misunderstandings are resolved that way.

The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution for consumers. We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
